Not sure I'd credit JHJ for the decison to return Tidal Bay to hurdles (I'm far from convinced it ever occurred to him!!!). It involved a lot circuitous lobbying through a business associate of Mr Wylie who was persuaded to pick the phone up and bend Graham's ear (which i'm assured was the "easy bit"). Graham was quite amenable to the suggestion and popped the Q to JHJ backed up by Dennis O'Reagan who was also lobbied, albeit he wasn't quite so convinced

Think Big Bucks will win this so won't be betting in this race as too short for my preferred bets.

Big Buck's certainly is in the driving seat as far as this race is concerned but I'm in the Tidal Bay camp and was very impressed with his win in the Cleeve Hurdle and think he can only improve from there.

If you look at the Ryan Air chase last year considering he wasn't even in the picture up the straight (and was miles behind) and the fact he steamed up the hill in finish in fourth suggests he'll give Big Buck's something to think about.

In an effort to get some value, I've taken a forecast on Big Bucks and Tidal Bay.
